Come relax and enjoy our beautiful lakeside resort on Big Lake Chippewa.   There is something for the whole family here-whether it is fishing, boating, grilling or just relaxing by the lake you will enjoy your time here at Westwood Beach Resort.  Big Chip has excellent dock fishing for panfish, bass, walleye and northern pike. Your hosts Ray and Diane Wood will see that your stay will be an enjoyable one for you and your family and friends!

With six cabins on the lake that have been newly remodeled and 4 trailers, you will be able to enjoy a wonderful lake view.  Our cabins have 2 or 3 bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms  and furnished with housekeeping, dishes, cooking utensils, toaster, coffee pot, stove, refrigerator, shower, toilet, hot water, etc,.  All units have hide-a-beds.   Sorry NO PETS.   Just 17 miles northwest of Alexandria.  There are plenty of restaurants, churches and small and large town shops around.  Brandon offers two gas stations one with a full service bait store, post office, grocery store, bank and liquor store.  There are numerous golf courses and tourist attractions in the Lakes Area.
